Senior care worker will support the house coordinator in the general running of the house, including finances, reporting of planned maintenance and ad-hoc repairs, holding of regular house meetings, creating/updating of co-workers timetables and participation in relevant recruitment process as and when required.

To be a successful Teaching Assistant, you will need:

To have worked within Level 4 of the CSA Pupil Support Assistant gradings for at least one year, or have equivalent external experience.

To have demonstrated patience, compassion and resilience – all of the pupils you will support will be neurodiverse, which may impact their learning behaviour and communication needs.

Great communication skills – both verbal and written communication is important in this role as you will be speaking to a lot of different people at different times. You will also need to be able to update the pupils’ plans and help create learning material.

To be adaptable to different situations, demonstrating a calm approach, even when under pressure.
