We have two kindergarten groups; Amber and Jade, each with up to 12 children aged between 3 and 6 years old. You will be part of our experienced and well-established kindergarten team. Our kindergarten is a collaborative and supportive environment where colleagues are valued and nurtured, and your support and enthusiasm will be welcomed and appreciated.

To be a successful Teaching Assistant, you will need:

To have worked within Level 4 of the CSA Pupil Support Assistant gradings for at least one year, or have equivalent external experience.

To have demonstrated patience, compassion and resilience – all of the pupils you will support will be neurodiverse, which may impact their learning behaviour and communication needs.

Great communication skills – both verbal and written communication is important in this role as you will be speaking to a lot of different people at different times. You will also need to be able to update the pupils’ plans and help create learning material.

To be adaptable to different situations, demonstrating a calm approach, even when under pressure.
