GARDENER

Part Time Position
(3-5 days per week)

Camphill School Aberdeen work to create communities in which vulnerable children and adults, many with learning disabilities, can live, learn and work with others in healthy social relationships based on mutual care and respect.
As a Gardener, you will be required to take over the day to day running of our Cairnlee gardens and estate grounds.
This role involves working with young people with additional support needs, and the successful candidate will work with the wider CSA and Cairnlee community to provide meaningful opportunities and workplace activities. The Cairnlee Gardener will care for all aspects of gardens and estate work, as well as working directly with young people, based at Cairnlee Estate, Bieldside, Aberdeen.
Horticultural experience is required, as is the ability to work directly with young people with special needs, however full training and support will be available to the right person. Further opportunities are available to be involved in a variety of support roles, group activities and craft workshops.

This position will be subject to a PVG Membership check

NATURE NURTURE VOLUNTEER

Nature Nurture are currently seeking volunteers for the Tuesday morning group (for 5-8 year olds) and the Wednesday afternoon under-fives group.

We need committed people who have experience working with children of these ages.  All our sessions take place outdoors, so candidates need to have an enthusiasm for outdoor play in all weathers.

All our children are vulnerable and need adults who are calm, enjoy spending time with young children and who are keen to learn.

All Nature Nurture staff need enhanced PVG and be willing to undertake core training.
