Do you have:

  • Relevant experience of working with children and young adults with additional support needs
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • A relevant qualification, or the willingness to achieve one
  • A clear PVG/Criminal Record Check
  • SSSC Registration (or other recognised professional body), or the commitment to achieve this

MAINTENANCE SUPPORT PERSON

Camphill School Aberdeen works to create a community where children and adults feel a sense of belonging, support and personal growth.  A place where there is an inclusive, lifelong learning culture with an integrated approach to health, education and care.

Forming part of our Maintenance and Workshop Team, this newly created, full time post will undertake general maintenance tasks across all three of Camphill School Aberdeen's estates.  The successful applicant will work both autonomously and as part of the team in the knowledge that there will be direct contact with the children and young people in our care.

Typical tasks with the remit of this post are:

  • General maintenance tasks
  • Water testing in the swimming pool and domestic properties
  • As required, working alongside the workshop joiner on two-man jobs
  • As required, undertaking Estate work, e.g. grass cutting, grass strimming, general ground maintenance
