Aberdeen Strategy Debate
Many of our parents in the Aberdeen area and beyond will be aware of the current debate within Aberdeen City regarding funding for children and young people with additional support needs. The impact on individuals and schools within Aberdeen City is already being felt. The Camphill School are actively involved with other voluntary provisions in Aberdeen. In light of the above, we have created an internal strategy group to look at the threats and possibilities of the City Transformation Strategy.
Inspections
As an historic leader in the provision of education for children and young people with additional support needs, the Camphill School have long strived towards excellence. Since 2005 we have been accredited with the National Autistic Society and we are currently preparing for our next annual review (to be held in March).

Pupils' Council
The Pupils’ Council recently decided that the purchase of clothing with the School’s logo should go ahead. This would take the form of sweatshirts or similar to be worn to the local and national events that pupils from the School attend. The Council was keen to identify with the School and wants to show the world they “are proud of being a part of Camphill”.
