Spring Fayre a Huge Success

At 2pm the sun peeped out from behind the clouds and for three hours shone down on the Spring Fayre, helping to enhance the warm atmosphere that was developing as more and more people came to join us. By the time the rain returned at 5pm more than 300 people had passed through.

It was a great success with children of all ages enjoying the multitude of activities on offer, be it face painting, weaving, wood turning, the bouncy castle, donkey riding, storytelling, playing games, or eating home baking at the café or organic burgers at the BBQ.

Laurence Alfred, Executive Director of Camphill School Aberdeen, said, “It is the first time for many years that we have held a Spring Fayre on our Murtle campus and it exceeded all expectations. To be able to share some aspects of our life and work with so many was wonderful. We look forward to seeing everyone again when we host our Open Day on our Camphill campus in Milltimber from 2 to 5pm on Saturday 26th September.”
