Camphill's dolphin joins 50 strong 'school' in Aberdeen

A dolphin created by Craig, a co-worker at the Cairnlee campus of Camphll School Aberdeen pictured below with his artwork, is one of 50 colourful dolphins that will be dotted around Aberdeen between now and the end of August.

The 50 dolphins are part of a summer arts project in the city with the 50 fibreglass dolphins having been decorated by various organisations. The theme of Craig's dolphin is the Moon.

After their 10-weeks of fame around the streets and parks of Aberdeen the dolphins will be auctioned with the proceeds going to the Archie Foundation and Whale and Dolphin Conservation.

The inspiration for the project is the bottlenose dolphins that can often be seen around Aberdeen bay, particularly around the entrance to Aberdeen Harbour.
