Ascension Day 2017
During the traditional Ascension outing, a group from Murtle Estate broke with tradition and climbed two hills instead of one: Oxen Craig (529m) and Craigshannock (480m). Additionally, the most energetic climbed another one of the Bennachie hills: Mither Tap (518m)! The weather was sunny and hot, lots of sun cream was used and much liquid was drunk by the eager climbers. A little breeze was very much welcomed too! The only thing missing was ice cream!
