Triplets on the farm

Camphill School Aberdeen welcomed triplets this morning. The first lambs of the spring have arrived. Mother, lambs and farm team are all well.

Pudsey came to Camphill for a Children in Need fundraising cafe and £100.02 was donated! There was good company, food, singing and games ... all for a good cause.

Last year Tesco 'Bags of Help' awarded us £8,000 towards Cairnlee’s new greenhouse. During the year our gardening activities have flourished and we would like to say a big thank you to Tesco and to everyone who voted for us!

News from the Farm

Spotted in the Aberdeen and Northern Marts' sale report was the note that our farm sold a group of wether (male) lambs last week and achieved the top price for the day, for their breed type, of £86 each. Well done to the farm workers!

Harvest time

It's the time of the year we turn to our land and all that our land produces. The community has been out in Cairnlee, Murtle and Camphill harvesting in preparation for the harvest meals on Michaelmas day.

Ascension Day 2017

During the traditional Ascension outing, a group from Murtle Estate broke with tradition and climbed two hills instead of one: Oxen Craig (529m) and Craigshannock (480m).
