If you consider applying for sponsorship from our community we recommend that you spend at least six to twelve months as a voluntary co-worker at the CRSS before entering the BA Programme in August. This period will let you settle into community life and will give us time to consider your request for sponsorship before the BA Programme begins. It will also allow you to undertake our internal Foundation Year programme as a preparation for your university studies. We may waive this requirement only for applicants with prior experience in other Camphill communities.
The B.A. Programme in Curative Education is offered in partnership with Aberdeen University.
You need to submit two applications if you wish to be considered for the BA Programme of study.
The CRSS as a sponsoring community for a voluntary co-worker place (entering the community at least 6 to 12 months prior to entering study programme)
The University of Aberdeen (University deadline for receiving completed applications is 1st February in year of entry).
The BA Honours Programme in Curative Education is very popular and places are limited. A waiting list is normally operated as applications usually out-number places.
A joint panel from all participating communities and University will meet in early April to consider applications for voluntary work and study placements. The University will write to you following the admissions panel decision (in late April) telling you if your application for study has been successful.
You should familiarise yourself with the document Information on Sponsorship of BACE students in the CRSS before making an application to the CRSS as a course sponsor
We hope that the above information is helpful to you and look forward to receiving your co-worker application as soon as possible. To apply to the CRSS please follow this link to the volunteer mini-site
